Brief Bio:

Suzanne Mayer was a corporate tax attorney for 20 years before she decided to become a teacher. She received her undergraduate degree in accounting and German from Wittenberg University, her law degree from Case Western Reserve School of Law, attended Chicago Kent College of Law for her Masters of Law in taxation and completed her teaching certificate from the University of Washington. Last year she received her National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certificate in mathematics. She loves working at Aki Kurose Middle School Academy and teaching mathematics to the seventh and eighth graders. Teaching math is a natural fit, Mayer said. "I think its fun – like working on a puzzle. As a Fulbright Teacher Exchange Suzanne Mayer will be teaching Math's at the Bal Bharti Public School Brij Vihar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
